"Dead to Rights" is a phrase commonly uttered at the end of a particularly arduous wrongpurae.  It originated in slowbeef's LP of the Namco game Dead to Rights which itself takes the title from a real-life phrase meaning "to be caught in the act."

Jack Slate's dull adventures in the state penitentiary exemplified Diabetus's skepticism towards slowbeef's claim that Dead to Rights is actually a pretty good game, leading up to Betus sarcastically proclaiming "Dead to Rights!" during a particularly boring speed bag minigame in the prison exercise room.
