Darkseed II is a point-and-click adventure game Developed and published by Cyberdreams in 1995. It is the sequel to the original Darkseed published in 1992. It features the further adventures of Mike Dawson in the "Dark World", based on the artwork of H. R. Giger and designed/written by future James Bond novelist Raymond Benson.

The game was once LPed by Slowbeef, which was done as a combination of screenshots, with video for the cutscenes. Like in his future retsupurae, Mike was made fun of for his whining and idiocy.
Retsupurae[]
On Oct 8, 2011, slowbeef and Diabetus posted their commentary over a longplay of DS2 after doing one of the original Darkseed. It was positively recieved, spanning over 32 parts of heart-pumping action*. It also spawned running jokes like "Did you kill Rita?", Shrimp Baby, and Mike Dawson's inability to even beat a ring toss game, even after the help of a magnetic alien device.
